This solution is really stupid you just have to go into the database editor the one that is on the main menu, then you double click where it says "companies", select a company, next click on edit, wait till the edit menu open, then next to founder 1 is an option that says none (don't change this one) next to that option it is other option that says mandatory so you have to change it to preferred and now the company will open.
This is going to be a little bit long but it's worth it to read atleast 1 solution and what is after the solutions, that is also important. I don't know if this reddit still active or there is people that is going to read this but I have found a solution to the dawn of the mma (revamped) error of companies not opening. I forgot to add that this only works with new saves, unfortunately :c
